The one-way street of accepted (and acceptable) thought.
And, like the image, above, it usually runs into a lot of resistance.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, for me,
I was born unable to think any other way.
Too many people imagine that creativity, not to mention original thought, is supposed to pop out of thin air and into your head like the infamous Eureka moment.
Or, that it is supposed to leap out at you suddenly as a result of staring at the blank page or pounding your head against the pavement.
It doesn’t work that way at all.
Creativity begins with one single thought:
‘This is stupid.’
Creativity is merely the result of trying to un-stupid a thing.
